JOB POSTING: Content Writer
Content Writer | Part-Time (Seasonal)
The Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (OJLL) is searching for individuals who are passionate about storytelling through written word to join our media team. Content Writers will be responsible for producing written content relating to the OJLL and publishing post-game recaps. Applicants should be familiar with the league and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Content Writers will receive post-game assignments from and report directly to the Content Editor. Content Writers will be assigned an OJLL Media Pass to attend games in person, however post-game recaps can be completed remotely utilizing the broadcast and box score.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Contribute a minimum of four (4) post game recaps per week
Knowledge of the OJLL, its history, its teams and game results
Familiarity with Google Docs is an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be highly self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Ability to foster relationships with various stakeholders
Ability to work independently to schedule and conduct interviews if required in a professional manner
