The OJLL is a member of the Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA) and all of our teams have minor lacrosse club affiliates — many don the same name and branding — maintaining a special connection to the community and the minor club that primarily develops their players.
One of the key differences that sets Ontario Lacrosse clubs apart from other sports is our residential boundary regulations, which are specifically designed to maintain the hometown, community spirit that fuels support for The OJLL and our teams.
Since lacrosse is one of the youngest organized sports children can play, the rivalry and camaraderie that exists in The OJLL is unparalleled. On many of our teams, the core have played together from as early as 3-years-old, playing teams they have played against consistently for over a decade.

Land Acknowledgment
The OJLL acknowledges the Indigenous and First Nations Peoples of all of the lands throughout Ontario that we all call home. We recognize that these lands and territories throughout the province, where we live and where we gather to play lacrosse, traditionally known by Indigenous Peoples as the Creator's game, were inhabited long before us.
We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
