Strathroy’s Noah Candy Selected First Overall In 2024 OJLL Draft

The Ontario Lacrosse League (The OJLL) held its annual Entry Draft on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario.

Ontario players born in 2007 that are not residentially protected by OJLL teams or protected  under OLA R6.43(a) of the OLA Rules and Regulations were eligible for selection in the two rounds of the 2024 OJLL Draft. The 2024 protected lists can be found here.

Kitchener-Waterloo General Manager Doug Arthur made the first overall selection for the second consecutive year, selecting Noah Candy from Strathroy, Ontario. Candy recorded 41 goals and 17 assists in 25 games-played for the London Blue Devils U17 minor box team in 2023 and was instrumental in securing a Gold Medal for Team Ontario in Saskatchewan.
