Vincent Ward selected First overall in 2026 OJLL Draft

The Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (OJLL) hosted the annual Entry Draft on Wednesday, February 18, which saw 24 of the top players in the province hear their names called by the 12 OJLL franchises.

Eligible for selection were Ontario players born in 2009 who are not residentially protected by existing OJLL teams. The draft, spanning two rounds, brought together top talent from across the province.

The Brampton Jr Excelsiors held the first overall pick in the draft, the first of seven picks overall on the night, with five sitting in the first round. The Whitby Warriors held three first-round picks, while the Toronto Beaches had two first-rounders

With the first overall selection in the 2026 OJLL Draft, the Brampton Jr Excelsiors selected forward Vincent Ward from Halton Hills. Below is a complete list of selections made in both rounds of the draft.
