TORONTO, ONTARIO (November 22, 2021) – The Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (@TheOJLL), today announced it has expanded its relationship with JVI Sports, an Ontario-based sports streaming platform, to bring the most competitive amateur box lacrosse league in the world to lacrosse fans worldwide.
The media rights partnership comes after an incredibly successful return to play for the OJLL that attracted more than 170,000 views on the JVI Sports network. The league partnered with JVI Sports to broadcast all 47 games in the 2021 shortened OJLL season at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre—a partnership made possible by the Dairy Farmers of Ontario.
“We are proud to partner with JVI Sports once again to bring lacrosse fans front-row access to the best amateur box lacrosse league in the world and the future stars of the National Lacrosse League,” said OJLL Commissioner Mark Grimes. “This is a major step forward for the OJLL and we are excited to continue our relationship with the entire team at JVI Sports.”
“Our team is committed to delivering the best product for OJLL games,” said Gary Morrison, Owner and Producer of JVI Sports. “We look forward to collaborating with the OJLL again as we continue to establish JVI Sports as the home of lacrosse coverage in Ontario.”
The partnership between the OJLL and JVI Sports will feature multiple OJLL TV broadcasts each week during the regular season, comprehensive playoff action, and the 2022 Minto Cup. Lacrosse fans will be able to stream games live, subscription free, via YouTube on smart TVs, computers, tablets and mobile devices—increasing the accessibility of the league to fans and expanding its digital presence across North America, and the world.
Schedule details will be announced in the coming months. Interested in promoting your business, services, or products during the Ontario Junior Lacrosse League broadcasts? Connect with us for commercials, ad reads, and strategic partnerships.
